Welcome to the website for the Nurse Practitioners (NPs) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Our intention is to spotlight the NP profession at the NIH and to provide information for the advanced practice provider interested in clinical research.

There are currently 52 NPs practicing within the NIH Clinical Center and the various Institutes. Each NP works in collaboration with a research team to provide continuity of care for patients enrolled in clinical trials. We are committed in our profession to providing exceptional quality of care through our unique clinical perspective, training, and skills.
