Dr. Xiaowei Lu is a staff physician specialized in anesthesiology at Department of Perioperative Medicine.


Dr. Lu graduated from Beijing Medical University of China with an MD degree. She finished residency training in Elbert Einstein College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and was promoted as an assistant professor after the training.

Dr. Lu joined the NIH anesthesia department in 2005. She makes an effort to teaching and establishing airway training for the Department of Perioperative Medicine. Dr. Lu is the instructor of the Conscious Sedation course for NIH.
