Effect of Exercise Training on Physical, Cognitive and Behavioral Function in Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury

Healthy Volunteers Needed

Researchers at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center seek healthy volunteers to participate in a research study on traumatic brain injury (TBI). Healthy volunteers are needed to improve our understanding of brain injury and will be compared to those with TBI. Participants will make an outpatient visit of up to 6 hours to complete brain imaging, blood draw and behavioral testing.

You may be eligible to participate in the study if you are:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 79
  • In good general medical and psychological health
  • Not currently exercising

Study visits will take place at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. There is no cost for participation. All participants will be compensated.

The NIH Clinical Center is America's Research Hospital and is located in Bethesda, MD, on the Metro Red line (Medical Center stop).
