Does a Research Medication Reduces Drinking?
Researchers at the National Institutes of Health seek volunteers, 21 - 60 years of age, who drink more than 15 - 20 alcoholic beverages per week, to participate in a study researching if a study medication reduces drinking. All study-related tests and procedures are provided at no cost to the study participant. Compensation may be provided.
Study information:
- Women who drink more than 15 drinks per week
- Men who drink more than 20 drinks per week
- Screening with a medical history, physical exam, blood tests, and questionnaires
- Three 10-hour visits and one 2-hour follow-up visit at the Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD
Location: The NIH Clinical Center, America's research hospital, is conveniently located on the Metro Red Line (Medical Center stop) in Bethesda, MD.
