Do You Drink Alcohol? Are You Between the Ages of 21 and 60?
Researchers at the National Institutes of Health seek volunteers, 21-60 years old to participate in a study researching if a gene and smoking affect drinking. All study-related tests and procedures are provided at no cost to the study participant. Compensation may be provided.
Study Information:
- Participation involves 3 outpatient study visits at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD.
- Screening with a medical history, physical exam, blood tests, and questionnaires.
- Volunteers should be healthy and drug-free, and not seeking treatment for alcohol-related problems.
Location: The NIH Clinical Center, America's Research Hospital is located on the Metro red line (Medical Center stop) in Bethesda, MD.
