Healthy Infants Needed for Research Study

a mother and child

Researchers at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development are seeking infants (full term at birth and English as primary language spoken at home) age 9-12 months for a study of imitation, brain activity, and social communication development. There is no charge to you for study-related tests or visits. Compensation is provided.

What will my baby do?

Infants will complete play-based activities while wearing a cap, which contains sensors measuring their brain activity. This cap was specifically designed for use with infants, as it can be used to comfortably measure their brain activation as they respond to stimuli.

Who can participate?

  • Healthy Infants
    • At least 9 months of age
    • Full term at birth
    • English as primary language spoken at home
