Martha M. Bernad, ScD, DRC
Dr. Bernad is a staff vocational rehabilitation counselor in the Rehabilitation Medicine at the NIH Clinical Center. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles, her Masters of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles and her Doctorate of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Fellow of American College of Forensic Examiners, Diplomate of American Board of Disability Analysts and obtained a certificate in Federal Work Place Mediation. She has presented lectures and written articles on the topics of adult and pediatric oncology, HIV/AIDS, chronic illness, dystonia and PTSD at local and national panels and conferences.
