Virtual Health Update
The NIH Clinical Center will be launching a new component of our virtual health platform. This new component supports sending automated appointment reminders through text and email messages. We will be phasing this in over the next several months. If you are patient and have scheduled appointments in any of the following areas within our facility, you will begin to receive these reminders some time around late April 2024 (Outpatient Clinic 3, Outpatient Clinic 7, Radiation Oncology, CT Scan). Appointment reminders will be sent 7 days prior, 2 days prior and, finally, at 30 minutes prior to scheduled appointments. The final reminder will include a link that may be used to virtually check in for your appointment. This platform also enables staff to alert patients when care providers are ready to see them as well as about any delays that their care team may be experiencing. Patients may choose to wait in the patient care area waiting room or in other areas within the hospital of their choosing. For questions, please contact our telehealth concierge service on 1-855-644-6455. View flyer.
