Patient Care staff receive the flu vaccine in the Clinical Center

The NIH Office of Research Services and the Clinical Center provided free flu shots to staff with a valid NIH identification badge from Oct. 2 through Nov. 9. Since 2008, the Clinical Center has had a policy of mandatory universal influenza immunizations for health care providers and others who have face-to-face contact with patients. As of Nov. 6, the Clinical Center has provided vaccinations to more than 3,349 employees.
