Dr. David Sacks

David is originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where he obtained a medical degree (MB, ChB) from the University of Cape Town. After completing residency training at Georgetown University and residency and fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine, he joined the faculty at Harvard Medical School.

Zhigang Li

Zhigang is originally from Shanghai, China, where he graduated from the East China Institute of Chemical Technology. He has authored/co-authored over 55 peer reviewed papers since joining the lab.

Mohammed Rizwan Babu Sait

Mohammed Rizwan Babu Sait

Rizwan is originally from India where he obtained a B. Tech. He obtained his PhD at Heinrich Heine University in Germany, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Umeå University in Sweden. Rizwan joined the lab in February 2024.

Samar Sayedyahossein

Samar Sayedyahossein

Samar is originally from Iran, where she obtained a medical degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. She then continued her education and obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology from Western University in Canada. She is a former postdoctoral fellow and rejoined the lab as a research scientist in January 2023.

Louise Thines

Louise Thines

Louise is originally from Belgium, where she obtained a master’s in bioengineering. She then carried out a PhD (UCLouvain, Belgium) where she studied the functions of yeast and human Golgi Ca2+ transporters. Louise joined the lab in August 2020.
